Global Leaders Network

Project Description

The University Center for International Studies (UCIS) in partnership with internal and external stakeholders is creating a pipeline of young global leaders and increasing the number of undergraduates ready for early career success. Focusing on professional development opportunities inside and outside the classroom via alumni/community engagement at home, abroad or online, the GLOBAL LEADERS NETWORK offers courses, internships and shadowing opportunities designed specifically for traditionally underrepresented students (athletes, STEM, BIPOC, and regional campus students) in global education. We use global learning as a tool in advancing underrepresented students’ leadership skills, intercultural competence, and professional networks while earning a UCIS credential.
